Park Physiotherapy is opening from Monday 6th July!
The team at Park Physiotherapy are delighted to welcome you back following the Covid-19 lockdown closure.
To comply with recommended safety measures, both from the Government and our professional bodies, we have put the following procedures in place. We ask for your patience and understanding with this new system but keeping you safe is our priority.
We are only able to accept patients with a pre-booked appointment. Please call or email the practice to speak to a member of the team.
All patients will be screened by a telephone call with a physiotherapist prior to booking their appointment. This will cover health related questions, explanation of the risk factors and whether a face to face appointment is deemed clinically necessary. For vulnerable patients, whom we do not feel face to face is appropriate, remote consultations will be offered.
All patients will be asked to give their consent to treatment prior to attending. This consent will include the fact that information around risks and precautions have been explained and understood prior to treatment. This will be recorded in your clinical notes. We will ask for consent for your information to be shared with the ‘Track and Trace’ team, should this be necessary.
Patients will be asked to wait in their vehicle in the car park outside the clinic until the physiotherapist calls them in for their appointment; and leave the clinic promptly after the session has finished. The toilet facilities will be open. Reception and toilet areas will be cleaned after each patient has used this area.
You will be checked for signs of Covid-19 on entry to the clinic and asked to confirm that you have not been in contact with anyone with confirmed Covid-19 for the previous 14 days. If you are unwell, please let us know and do not attend for your appointment.
We request that everyone wears their own face covering/mask whilst attending our clinic, (masks will be available for purchase). Please let us know, prior to attending, if this is difficult for you due to respiratory disease or any other reason.
Hand sanitisers and hand washing facilities will be available for patients to use on entry and leaving the premises.
Physiotherapists will wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Face masks, gloves and aprons will be worn as minimum in a treatment room.
We request that only one person attends for an appointment. Please let us know if you need to be accompanied for treatment e.g. due to mobility problems. All children under 16 must have a parent or suitable adult with them for treatment
We will be staggering appointment times so there should only be one person at a time in the reception area. Should there be an overlap you are requested to maintain social distancing as advised.
There will be 15-minute intervals between physiotherapy appointment times in the clinic to allow time for physiotherapists to wash & clean surfaces and equipment and change their PPE as appropriate. Fabric couch covers or towels will no longer be used.
Wherever possible please be prepared to use contactless or BACs payment. If the PIN pad is required, it will be wiped down with alcohol wipes before and after each use.
If you have any concerns, please speak to a member of our clinic team before making your appointment.
